RIT’s Retractable Search Line is built for reliability in demanding environments. Available in either 20 feet or 50 feet, this lifeline features 6MM Kevlar over polyester rope with a tensile strength that exceeds 4,000 pounds and a temperature rating of 860°F. The rope is securely sewn to a snap hook and comes with a non rated carabiner for easy attachment to a belt or anchor point.

The heavy duty case is constructed from stamped steel to protect the rope and retractable wheel. For convenient transport, the unit includes a carry bag made from 1000 denier Cordura nylon with reinforced handles. This search line is designed for durability, high heat conditions, and dependable performance when firefighters need it most.
