Course Description
This course is designed for general industry and construction works to provide a basic understanding of the OSHA Confined Space Regulation 29 CFR 1910.146 and associated regulatory requirements.
Participants will be able to identify and classify a permit required confined space and describe the elements of the entry permit process and associated permit generation.
Participants will understand the requirements and expectations of the entrant, attendant, and the entry supervisor roles and function in those roles during simulated confined space entries.

Course Description
This course is designed to meet and exceed the training demands of 29 CFR 1910.146 and NPFA 1006.
Our intensive classroom and field instruction ensures that your confined space rescue team will be proficient in the basic skills needed to safely and efficiently perform entry rescues in your workplace.
Topics covered in the program include assessment of confined space hazards, preplanning, atmospheric monitoring, confined space rescue equipment use and limitation, knots, vertical and horizontal hauling, lowering systems, personal protective equipment, and patient packaging.
