Description
Kevlar Class II Harness for Firefighter and Rescue Applications
The RIT Kevlar Class II Harness is designed to provide comfort, support and versatility for firefighters and rescue professionals. Its low-profile design allows it to be worn either inside or outside turnout gear, making it suitable for daily use, training, emergency response and technical rescue operations.
When properly fitted and used, the Class 2 harness raises the user’s center of gravity to help reduce the risk of inversion and side-to-side tipping while suspended. This design provides greater stability during emergency egress, rope operations and other situations where reliable body support is essential.
Compatible With Emergency Egress Systems
RIT harnesses can be pre-rigged with RIT Emergency Egress Systems for a more organized, ready-to-deploy setup. The harness may also be configured for use with other compatible emergency escape and rescue systems available on the market.
This flexibility allows departments and rescue teams to build a system that meets their equipment requirements, operating procedures and preferred deployment method.
