Description
The Delta Tri-Link Steel Connector provides a strong, enclosed connection point for compatible rigging, anchoring, rescue, and industrial safety systems. Its triangular shape is designed to accommodate equipment or webbing at the wider end while creating a more concentrated connection point at the narrower end.
A threaded nut closes the connector and helps prevent connected components from slipping out during use. Unlike a standard carabiner-style gate, the screw-link design is intended for connections that do not need to be opened and closed repeatedly.
Durable Steel Construction
The connector is made with a custom-manufactured steel rod designed to provide dependable strength under load. The lead-free steel nut undergoes quality-control testing using eddy-current and ultrasonic inspection methods during manufacturing.
Both the rod and nut receive an electrolytic surface coating. This treatment helps protect the steel surface from ordinary environmental exposure and wear.
Load Ratings
The Delta Tri-Link has a working load limit of 900 kg and a stated breaking load of 4,500 kg.
- Working Load Limit: 900 kg (approximately 1,984 lb)
- Breaking Load: 4,500 kg (approximately 9,921 lb)
- Ratio of breaking load to WLL: 5:1
The working load limit represents the maximum load stated for normal use. The breaking load is not the recommended operating capacity and should never be treated as the allowable working load.
Potential Applications
- Rigging and anchor configurations
- Pulley and rope systems
- Rescue equipment assemblies
- Industrial safety systems
- Webbing or strap connections
- Hardware connections requiring a threaded closure
